My name is Abhraneel and a Masters student at the University of Michigan School of Information at Ann Arbor, specialising in Human Computer Interaction and Data Science.
I am a User Experience researcher who tackles problems using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. I have had experience designing and conducted qualitative studies, as well as research experience in academia using quantitative data analysis techniques, building on my education in HCI and engineering.
I am passionate about understanding how we, as users, interact with and interpret data. Currently, I am researching how the use of storytelling and interactivity in narrative visualizations affect viewer comprehension
I am recreational football (soccer) player, and an avid reader of books. I finished the Maus by Art Spiegelman, and I am currently reading Love & Math by Edward Frenkel.
